Supply police continue to chase those accused of commercial fraud in Giza

The Giza Security Directorate prepared a food campaign to apprehend those accused of commercial fraud, and to monitor and inspect commercial establishments and public stores, to ensure the quality and validity of the products offered in the market, in addition to reviewing the data recorded on goods, and preventing manipulation of basic commodity prices.
The campaign resulted in the seizure of 82 cases of possession of a quantity of frozen meat and poultry of unknown origin, the failure to announce prices, and the failure to carry health certificates, in addition to the liberation and seizure of cases of possession of a quantity of subsidized flour, and supply goods to be sold at black market prices.
A number of cases of withholding goods and the production of bread that did not conform to specifications were seized, and the necessary legal measures were taken against the accused, and the competent prosecutions began investigations.
