A child dies of severe pneumonia at a shelter in Dakahlia and two are hospitalized

child died from acute pneumonia at Al-Manzala Central Hospital in Dakahlia today for treatment, but he died there, while two others received treatment after suffering from bronchitis.
Dr. Saad Mekki, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Dakahlia, said that the child Samir Hisham Mohamed, aged two months, and weighed 2.2 kilograms (underweight). While receiving full care as a result of acute circulatory and respiratory depression the impact of acute lung inflammation.
Makki told Al-Watan that legal procedures have been taken to bury the child, and to allocate a doctor to pass through the shelter three times a week, pointing out that the ministry followed the proper medical matters to preserve them.
He pointed out that the two children, Karim Ali al-Sagheer, 6 months old, and Khaled Ahmed Ahmed, aged three months, were transferred from the shelter house in Manzala, and found out that they had bronchitis two days ago, and were receiving hospital treatment and their condition is stable.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Dakahlia appealed to the civil society to extend a helping hand to these children and provide them with the necessary supplies through donations and in-kind assistance, as Dakahlia currently has 39 children in the shelter.
