The village of al-Sarraf in the Abu al-Matamir district in Al-Beheira governorate witnessed a huge fire at a poultry farm, killing 5,000 chickens and damaging some of the farm's fodder .

Major General Alaa Eddin Abdel Fattah, Director of the Beheira Security, received a notification from Major General Mohamed Hendy, Director of Investigation, about a fire at a poultry farm in Al-Sarraf village of Abu Al-Matamir police station .

Immediately, the civil protection forces moved to the scene of the fire. A fire broke out in a white, wood-and-straw-strewn poultry farm owned by 'Abd al-Qader' Ma '. The farmer's brother, Ibrahim, 40, was controlled and put to death.
