According to the Central Water Commission (CWC) report dated 25th June, 2015, there are 02 moderate flood situation sites in the country, as per details given below:
ASSAM
? River Brahmaputra at Neamatighat, Distt. Jorhat (Assam) is flowing at 85.52 m against the danger level of 85.04 m with falling trend.
JAMMU & KASHMIR
? River Jhelum at Rammunshibagh( near Srinagar), Distt. Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir is flowing at 1586.69 m against the danger level of 1586.45 m with Rising trend.

Gujarat rains: toll rises to 81; Nadda asks officials to gear up for monsoon

The rain fury in Gujarat has let up with no downpour reported in past 36 hours, reports said. Death toll in heavy rains and floods in the state climbed up to 81 today with large areas inundated, official sources said here. Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare J P Nadda has given topmost priority to advance preparedness of states affected by dengue, in order to prevent the disease and effectively manage it. Rainfall has created flood-like situation in many areas of Gujarat. Amreli district was the worst hit with 36 deaths reported followed by Rajkot four, Bhavnagar three, Surat two and one each from Bharuch and Valsad districts, a Gujarat Disaster Management Authority official said. "Floods, too, cannot be ruled out at the moment," the official added.
