    According to the Central Water Commission (CWC) report dated 27th Sept., 2012 there are 11 Moderate flood situation sites in the country as per the details given below :-

    ? River Brahmaputra at Neamatighat, district Jorhat/Neamatight Assam is flowing at 85.37m against the danger level of 85.04 m with Falling trend.
    ? River Brahamputra at Tezpur, district-Sonitpur/Tezpur, Assam is flowing at 65.32m against the danger level of 65.23m with Falling trend.
    ? River Brahmaputra at Guwahati, district Kamrup/Guwahati, Assam is flowing at 50.42m against the danger level of 49.68m with Falling trend.
    ? River Brahmaputra at Goalpara, district-Goalpara, Assam is flowing at 36.79m against the danger level 36.27m with Falling trend.
    ? River Brahmaputra at Dhubri, district Dhubri, Assam is flowing at 29.68m against the danger level of 28.62m with Steady trend.

    Bihar


    ? River Ganga at Colgong/Kahalgaon, district Bhagalpur/Colgong, Bihar is flowing at 31.24m against the danger level of 31.09 m with Falling trend.
    ? River Ghaghra at Gangpur Siswan district Siwan, Bihar is flowing at 57.22m against the danger level of 57.04 m with Falling trend.
    ? River Burhi Gandak at Khagaria, district Khagaria, Bihar is flowing at 36.90m against the danger level of 36.58m with Falling trend.

      28 dead in floods and landslides in Arunachal Pradesh

      ITANAGAR: At least 28 people have died and one went missing in floods and incidents related to it, besides landslides trigerred by heavy monsoon rains in Arunachal Pradesh this year.

      Water Resources Development Minister Newlai Tingkhatra told the assembly today that 16 people have died in two consecutive floods that hit the state since June this year, while seven landslide-related death cases have been reported in the state during the year.
