According to the latest surveillance data on acute respiratory infectious diseases released by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention, among influenza-like illness cases in sentinel hospitals, the top three pathogens with the highest positive rates in respiratory samples were rhinovirus (11.9%), influenza virus (9.9%), and enterovirus (7.7%). In hospitalized severe acute respiratory infection cases, rhinovirus also ranked first with a positive rate of 9.4%, with cases under 14 years of age being most severely affected by this active rhinovirus period .
