China has not released data on the proportion of the population that is fully inoculated.

The China made vaccine is called Sinovac and it needs 2 doses. link

Fuzzy math:
Population of China is about 1.4 billion people.
500 million doses is 250 million people fully vaccinated.
That is about 1.8% of the population fully vaccinated.
I have seen no data about the effectiveness of Sinovac against the 1.617 series of variants.
