...
?In order to guarantee the supply of the National Day holiday market, the Ministry of Commerce, together with the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance and other departments, will organize relevant enterprises to release 10,000 tons of central reserve pork to the market before the National Day, covering multiple pork product categories to increase meat during the National Day. Class market supply." At the regular press conference of the Ministry of Commerce held on the same day, the Ministry of Commerce spokesperson revealed.
The spokesperson?s voice just fell, and the Notice on the Relevant Matters Concerning the Third Central Reserve Frozen Pork Launching Auction in September 2019 (hereinafter referred to as the ?Notice?) issued by the China Merchants Reserve Commodity Management Center responsible for the national meat reserve mentioned The company will organize the implementation of the 10,000-ton central reserve frozen pork through auction trading from 13 to 16 September.
This will be the third time since September that the central reserve pork has been placed on the market. On the afternoon of September 26, the second batch of 10,000 tons of central reserve frozen pork was put into operation through bidding. As of the date, the Ministry of Commerce and other departments put a total of three batches of central reserve meat to the market in September, with a total of 20,000 tons of pork, 2,400 tons of beef and 1,900 tons of mutton.
"According to our understanding, some local areas have also started to put in the local reserve meat, and the market supply is generally guaranteed." Gao said.
The above-mentioned "Notice" attachment shows that there are 29 kinds of pork products, including the hind legs of boned pigs, the front section of boned pigs, the front legs of boned pigs, the front legs of boneless pigs, the frozen pigs, and the frozen pigs. Pig quadruple, boned pork ribs, boned pork ribs, etc., from Denmark, Germany, France, the Netherlands, the United States, the United Kingdom and Chile. After the transaction is completed, the company will extract the frozen meat from six cold storages in five districts of Qingdao, Zhoushan, Nantong, Shenzhen and Beijing.
Liu Tong, director of the circulation department of Beijing Xinfadi Agricultural Products Wholesale Market, said that the frozen meat that was put into the store was mainly sent to the cold storage. Because the price is cheaper than cold meat, it will be favored by catering enterprises, enterprises and institutions and cooked food processing plants, thus helping the city's farmers market to divert customers, further reducing the supply price of cold meat in the farmer's market.
On the evening of September 25, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued a document saying that during the National Day, the price of pigs will remain generally stable, and it is expected to gradually fall back to a reasonable level in the future. According to the monitoring data, the price of live pigs increased by 8.7%, 5%, 2.9% and 1.8% on the week-on-week from the 4th week of August to the 3rd week of September. The pork price increased by 8.6%, 6.3% and 3.4% respectively. And 1.6%, the gains have slowed down.
According to data released by the General Administration of Customs, in August this year, pork imports were 162,900 tons, up 76% year-on-year; imports from January to August have reached 1.164 million tons, approaching the total of 1.193 million tons last year.
Gao Feng said that the next step will continue to pay attention to the supply and demand and price changes in the pork market, and continue to do a good job in the distribution of pork in the central and local reserves to ensure the supply of domestic meat market; in addition, Chinese companies are following the principles of marketization and WTO rules. , purchase a certain amount of agricultural products from the United States. At present, soybeans and pork have been sold in considerable scale.
