Chengwu County People's Hospital held its first safety production lesson of the new semester.

To further strengthen the hospital's awareness of safe production, enhance the emergency response capabilities of the security team to sudden incidents, and effectively protect the lives and property of medical staff and patients, Chengwu County People's Hospital recently organized a fire safety and anti-terrorism and anti-riot emergency drill. Relevant leaders from various departments of the hospital and all staff members of the security department participated in the drill.
Liu Chong, Vice President of Chengwu County People's Hospital, delivered a speech and announced the official start of the emergency drill. At the fire drill site, the trainees practiced the operation and put the fire extinguishing knowledge they had learned into practice, which effectively improved the fire safety awareness of the hospital's security personnel.
At the counter-terrorism and riot control drill, police officers from the county public security bureau provided emergency response skills training to hospital security personnel, explaining in detail the use of protective equipment such as steel forks and shields, and conducting on-site demonstrations. Subsequently, two "rioters" played by staff members committed theft and assaulted medical staff. Security personnel acted swiftly, using steel forks, shields, and other riot control equipment to successfully subdue the "rioters." The entire drill was swift, decisive, safe, and orderly.
At the safety production meeting of Chengwu County People's Hospital, Zhang Yong, the hospital's president, demanded that all staff members quickly put aside their holiday mindset and take swift action in accordance with the goals and tasks set at the 2026 hospital work conference to ensure a good start for the hospital's high-quality development.
Regarding workplace safety, all departments must maintain a consistent and persistent approach, providing daily reminders, continuous monitoring, and thorough preventative measures. They must thoroughly investigate all types of safety risks and hazards and continuously improve and refine safety management systems. We must always remain vigilant about workplace safety, building a robust "firewall" with stricter standards, more practical measures, and a more resolute work style to create a safe, stable, and orderly environment for the hospital's high-quality development.
At the end of the meeting, all participants watched a video on fire safety education for medical institutions. Through the analysis of real cases and the explanation of fire safety knowledge, the video once again sounded the alarm for safe production and further strengthened the fire safety awareness and sense of responsibility of all staff.
