Yuncheng Daily News (Reporter Fu Yan) On November 26, the 2025 Yuncheng Municipal Health and Wellness System Fire Drill was held at the Yanhu District Comprehensive Childcare Service Center, comprehensively testing the emergency command, medical treatment, resource allocation, and multi-departmental coordination capabilities in the event of an emergency.
The drill simulated a fire caused by welding work at a construction site, with thick smoke billowing into the district's comprehensive childcare service center, injuring several children and staff. Upon receiving the report, the Municipal Health Commission immediately activated a Level III emergency medical rescue response, initiating the Municipal Emergency Medical Rescue Leading Group and its five subordinate working groups: comprehensive coordination, medical treatment and support, disease monitoring and prevention, material support, and public awareness. An on-site command center was established, coordinating and dispatching multiple professional teams, including medical, disease control, and psychological intervention teams, to the scene. The drill consisted of four parts: incident occurrence and emergency activation, medical rescue and collaborative support, public health and psychological intervention, and response termination. During the drill, all participating units responded quickly and cooperated closely, the command system operated efficiently, and medical treatment was professional and standardized, fully demonstrating the overall response capability of the city's health system in the face of complex emergencies.
A relevant official from the Municipal Health Commission stated that
The city's health system will conduct various drills on a regular basis, strengthen the supply of emergency materials and equipment, and continuously enhance the comprehensive ability of the city's health system to respond to various public emergencies, so as to provide a solid guarantee for effectively safeguarding the lives and health of the people.
This exercise was hosted by the Municipal Health Commission, with participation from the Municipal Fire and Rescue Brigade, the Municipal Central Hospital, the Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the Municipal Blood Center, the Health and Wellness Bureau of Yanhu District, the Traffic Police Brigade of the Yanhu Branch of the Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Yanhu District Medical Group, and the Yanhu District Comprehensive Childcare Service Center.
