To improve the regional joint emergency management system and strengthen emergency response capabilities, in accordance with the annual emergency work plan of the Sichuan Provincial Health Commission, the 2025 "Mission Accomplished in Health Emergency Response" comprehensive health emergency drill in northern Sichuan was held in Bazhong City from October 29 to November 2.

This exercise was hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Health Commission and specifically organized by the Sichuan (Northern Sichuan) Emergency Medical Rescue Team, which was built by the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College, with the Bazhong Municipal Health Commission as a co-organizer. A total of 165 personnel from one provincial-level, seven municipal-level, and twelve county-level emergency medical rescue teams from Mianyang, Nanchong, Dazhou, Suining, Guangyuan, Guang'an, and Bazhong participated in the exercise. The exercise simulated a large-scale geological disaster in a certain area. Under the overall coordination and professional guidance of the Affiliated Hospital of North Sichuan Medical College, the municipal and county-level teams responded quickly, assembled in an orderly manner, and efficiently engaged in rescue and disposal work. The five-day exercise fully simulated a real disaster scenario, comprehensively testing the command and dispatch, on-site handling, and comprehensive support capabilities of rescue teams at all levels in the Northern Sichuan region, and effectively improving the practical level of regional collaborative response to emergencies.
