  • Hong Kong health department avian flu report update February 1 - February 7 dated February 10, 2015

    Avian Influenza Report VOLUME 11, NUMBER 6 Reporting period: February 1, 2015 – February 7, 2015 (Week 6) (Published on February 10, 2015)

    http://www.chp.gov.hk/files/pdf/2015...vol11_wk06.pdf

This pdf has some information about recent H7N9 cases. I am presently evaluating this information but I think most are previously known cases. I will update here if any new cases appear on this pdf.

Not included on this list is the current H5N1 outbreak in Egypt since WHO did not publish an update week 6. Our H5N1 case list is here.

Also, H5N6 case list here. There is a cumulative total of 3 H5N6 cases in China (pdf shows only 2 of the 3).

Please note: Due to the date of the report these cases are for January 2015.

This pdf appears to list a basic description for the 30 total H7N9 cases in Fujian province in January.

I have accounted for these cases on the list, so there is no net increase in Fujian province:

#496-510 - Fujian health authorities announced 15 new cases including 2 dead so far in 2015 - dated January 16 - Fujian province 2 Death

#557-571 - Addition of 15 cases and 6 deaths. On Feb 9 Fujian health authorities announced 30 total cases incl. 8 dead for Jan '15. We noted 15/2 above from announcement mid-month (cases 496-510). This line adds the remainder - Fujian province 6 Death

I will be adding the details from the above pdf to these numbered ranges so that each case shows as a separate line item.
