The Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs announced on March 25 that a peacock H7N9 subtype highly pathogenic avian influenza epidemic occurred in Linghe District, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province .

confirmed by the National Avian Influenza Reference Laboratory, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, zoo ornamental peacock occur H7N9 subtype highly pathogenic bird flu. Park on hand to watch birds 394 birds, the incidence 9 feather, died 9 feather. After the outbreak, the local authorities in accordance with the relevant plans and technical requirements for prevention and control, do a good job in the treatment of the epidemic situation, have culled 191 birds, all dead and culled birds have been harmless treatment.
