I believe the other person in contact with this patient is:

a11. Female, 3, onset January 29 in Jiangxi and treated there February 1, hospitalized in Yunnan province February 5, died February 7 in Yunnan province, Jiangxi province Death CHP rpt 10/2/17

The onset dates are a week apart (January 29 for the daughter and February 4 for the mother) so human-to-human transmission is a possible explanation.
