China's Wuxi municipal government announced: To prevent the spread of avian flu, the local tomorrow, 29 midnight, suspended all types of live poultry transactions.
Fenghuang Wang reported: With the local access to H7N9 bird flu season, in order to protect public health and public health and safety, authorities announced the suspension of live poultry wholesale markets, farmers markets and slaughterhouses and other places of live poultry trade.
Authorities said they would investigate illegal live poultry trade, monitor live-bird transporters from other places in or through Wuxi, and ban foreign migrants from entering Wuxi.
