    Yueyang City, Hunan Province, confirmed a case of human infection with H7N9 influenza cases

    January 23, 2017, Yueyang City, Hunan Province, confirmed a case of human infection with H7N9 influenza. Patients million, a female, Yueyang City by the open area, 37 years old, history of contact with poultry.     As at 23:00 on January 23, Hunan Province in 2017 were reported cases of human infection with H7N9 influenza 16 cases, 5 cases of death.

    #958-962 - This line adds 5 cases and 3 deaths. On January 16 Hunan province CDC announced case #949 and referred to a total of 8 cases/3 deaths for 2017. We have 3 of those cases listed above. 3 Death

    #963-964 - The line adds 2 cases and 1 death. On January 18 Hunan province HFPC announced 10 total cases and 4 deaths so far for 2017.We have 8 of those cases and 3 deaths noted in lines above. Death

According to sources, the first patient was 57-year-old male, living in Loudi City Xinhua County; the second for the 75-year-old male, living in Chenzhou City, North Lake District; third 37-year-old female, now live in Yueyang City by the open area; The patient died on 18 January and the remaining two were critically ill. The first and third patients had been exposed to poultry prior to the onset of the disease.
