    Here are the 13 cases/5 deaths for 2017, including the new cases and death above:


    #826 - Female, 53, [Yang]. poultry contact, under treatment, Shaoyang Longhui, Hunan province CHP rpt 3/1/17

    #940 - Male, 57, [Yao], poultry contact, hospitalized in critical condition, Yiyang, Hunan province CHP rpt 12/1/17

    #949 - Female, 36, [Zhang], hospitalized in critical condition, contact with poultry, Hengyang City, Hunan province

    #958-962 - This line adds 5 cases and 3 deaths. On January 16 Hunan province CDC announced case #949 and referred to a total of 8 cases/3 deaths for 2017. We have 3 of those cases listed above. 3 Death

    #963-964 - The line adds 2 cases and 1 death. On January 18 Hunan province HFPC announced 10 total cases and 4 deaths so far for 2017.We have 8 of those cases and 3 deaths noted in lines above. Death

    #965 - Male, 57, [Zou], hospitalized in critical condition, poultry contact, Loudi, Hunan province

    #966 - Male, 75, [Bear], died, Chenzhou City, Hunan province Death

    Yesterday we picked up the 9th and 10th cases for 2017 and posted them on our list. Today the total is 13 which is 3 more than yesterday. Only 2 cases are detailed. I do not know who is the 3rd case but I will include all of the cases on our list so that we add to 13 for Hunan province, and with a total death count of 5.

    CHANGSHA, Jan. 20 (Xinhua) -- Another two human H7N9 avian flu cases have been reported in central China's Hunan Province, bringing the province's number of infections to 13 this year.
    According to the Hunan provincial disease control and prevention center,a total of 13 cases have been reported in January, including five deaths.
    The two patients who were diagnosed on Thursday, included a 57-year-old surnamed Zou from Xinhua county. He had contact with poultry before falling ill and is in a critical condition.
