China - 2 more H7N9 bird flu cases in Guangdong province - March 1, 2015
CHP notified of two additional human cases of avian influenza A(H7N9) in Guangdong
************************************************** ** The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health (DH) is today (March 1) closely monitoring two additional human cases of avian influenza A(H7N9) in Guangdong notified by the Health and Family Planning Commission of Guangdong Province (GDHFPC), and again urged the public to maintain strict personal, food and environmental hygiene both locally and during travel.
According to the GDHFPC, two male patients aged 36 (in Foshan) and 45 (in Dongguan) were hospitalised for treatment in stable condition.
According to the Ministry of Health and Family Planning Commission report, February 28, 2015, the province, Foshan, Dongguan, one case of H7N9 cases were new. Patient named Ma (male, 36 years old), living in Nanhai District of Foshan City, February 28 patients diagnosed with H7N9, Foshan City, the designated hospital now hospitalized in stable condition; Wu patients (male, 45 years old), living in Dongguan City, Phoenix Gang, February 28 diagnosed cases of H7N9, now Shenzhen designated hospital hospitalized in stable condition.
