He said: "Unlike the highly pathogenic avian H5N1, H7N9 low pathogenic avian influenza in poultry nature, difficult to detect infected poultry, culling of sick birds can not be processed in time, humans have more contact with sick birds opportunities. "
"Go live bird market but no contact with poultry, compared to not go over three times the risk of live bird markets, poultry in live bird markets in contact over the live bird markets did not go over 10 times the risk." Yang Zhicong said the meat market is the H7N9 flu virus The main sites of infection, the national CDC study shows that exposure is a risk factor for live bird markets. He therefore suggested that the staff in close contact with poultry, including those engaged in farming, sorting, transporting personnel, sales, slaughter, immunization and sick, dead poultry processing, as well as the relevant places terminally sterilized professionals need special protection. Special protection requirements are wearing ordinary clothes, cover a layer of protective clothing (gowns), wearing protective masks, medical disposable latex gloves, boots or wear protective gloves for disinfection.
