    An outbreak of poultry H7N9 flu occurred in Wangyi District, Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province

      On February 17, there were suspected bird flu symptoms in laying hens raised by a farmer in Wangyi District, Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province, with a disease incidence of 1000 and 810 deaths. On March 1, the Shaanxi Provincial Animal Epidemic Prevention Control Center diagnosed the suspected bird flu outbreak. March 5, confirmed by the national reference laboratory of bird flu, the outbreak was H7N9 influenza outbreak.
      After the outbreak occurred, the local government worked hard to dispose of the epidemic effectively according to the relevant preplan and technical regulation of prevention and treatment and culling and decontaminating 1000 poultry. At present, the outbreak has been effectively controlled.

    On February 17, there were suspected bird flu symptoms in laying hens raised by a farmer in Wangyi District of Tongchuan City in Shaanxi Province, with a disease incidence of 1000 and 810 deaths.
    On March 1, the Shaanxi Provincial Animal Epidemic Prevention Control Center diagnosed it suspicious as avian flu outbreak.
    March 5, confirmed by the national reference laboratory of bird flu, the outbreak was H7N9 influenza outbreak.

    After this, the local authorities in accordance with the requirements on the relevant prevention/control plans and technical requirements, developed law-based prevention/control, scientific prevention/control effectively.
    They have already culled 1,000 hens and made them harmless. At present, the avian flu is effectively controlled.
    (This is the tenth case of birds-birds outbreak after Hunan, Hebei, Henan, Tianjin, Shaanxi, Huhehaote, Bogutu, Heilongjiang and Chuzhou in Anhui.)
