    Tianjin City CDC reported National HFPC's Monthly Report on Infectious Diseases on Jan. 12 (11:22).
    Based on this, I found The CDC of China National HFPC has reported this on Jan. 11 though the National HFPC's top page did show any of this.
    I could manage to find this by keyword (

    ) research inside the HFPC web).
    The 6th wave has not come to the mainland China yet.

    December 2017 National outbreak of notifiable infectious diseases

      December 2017 (from 0:00 on December 1, 2017 to 24:00 on December 31), 699,850 notifiable infectious diseases and 2,198 deaths were reported nationwide (excluding Hong Kong, Maucao, and the same below). Among them, one outbreak of plague in Class A infectious diseases was reported, 1 died, no cholera was found and death was reported. Infectious Atypical Pneumonia, Diphtheria, Poliomyelitis, Human Infected HPAI and Human Infection with H7N9 Avian Influenza A No Incidence and Death were reported in Category B Infectious Diseases. The remaining 21 kinds of infectious diseases reported a total of 294 397 cases and 2187 deaths people. The top 5 diseases reported in the report were viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, syphilis, gonorrhea and scarlet fever, accounting for 93% of the total reported cases of type B infectious diseases.
      In the same period, there were no reports of filariasis in Category C infectious diseases and death reports. The remaining 10 infectious diseases reported a total of 405 452 cases and 10 deaths. Among the top three reported cases, other infectious diarrheal diseases, influenza and hand-foot-mouth disease were in order, accounting for 93% of the total number of reported cases of category C infectious diseases.

    This is an amazing improvement as compared to December 2017. Please see:

    So far only 2 cases have been reported for this flu season:

    #1590 - Male, 64, onset November 21, serious condition, contact with dead poultry, Kunming, Yunnan province CHP rpt 02/12/17

    #1591 - Male, 72, died on January 10, Korla City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region CHP rpt 12/1/18 Death
