  • China - Jiangxi province announced a new H9N2 bird flu case in Pingxiang City - August 23, 2016

    Province found one case of H9N2 cases, Release Date: 2016-08-23

    Recently, the province in the daily flu found one case of influenza-like illness monitoring, August 19, 2016, the provincial expert group on the basis of the clinical cases, laboratory testing and epidemiological findings, etc., to diagnose the patient is diagnosed with H9N2 cases.
    Ouyang certain patients, female, 4 years old, Pingxiang City, who has now recovered.
    Provincial Prevention and Control Expert Group assessed that: H9N2 virus is a subtype of influenza virus, avian influenza in relatively common for people is a low pathogenic virus. The cases of H9N2 found in sporadic cases belong to lower the risk of virus transmission.
