    Chikungunya Cases in Gatak Sukoharjo Soared, 46 Residents Infected
    There were 15 people with chikungunya in RT 001/RW 002 and 31 people in RT 002/RW 002, Geneng Hamlet, Geneng Village, Gatak District, Sukoharjo.

    Solopos.com, SUKOHARJO — Recently, there has been a sharp increase in the number of residents infected with chikungunya disease in Gatak District, Sukoharjo. So far, 46 gatak residents have been detected with the disease, which is transmitted through the Aedes aegypti mosquito.

    The increase in the number of residents infected with chikungunya was confirmed by the Head of Gatak District, Sumi Rahayu, when contacted by Solopos.com , Wednesday (9/2/2022) afternoon. He said that based on reports from the village midwife, there were two neighborhood units (RT) in Geneng Village, Gatak which became the location of the spread of the disease.

    So far, he said, 15 people with chikungunya have been recorded in RT 001/RW 002 and 31 people in RT 002/RW 002, Geneng Hamlet, Geneng Village, Gatak District, Sukoharjo...

      BIMA, KOMPAS.com - As many as 20 residents in Penaraga Village, Raba District, Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) began to contract the infectious disease chikungunya.
      Secretary of the City Health Office of Bima Ahmad conveyed that the discovery of the disease began after his party received a report from the Penaraga Village Community Empowerment Institute (LPM) regarding seven residents in RT 03 who had symptoms of high fever and stiff all over on Monday (9/5/2022).
      Upon the report, his party immediately dispatched a surveillance team to check in the field. "Once our team came down, it turned out that it had expanded, there were 20 residents who were infected with chikungunya in RT 03, Penaraga Village," said Ahmad, Tuesday (10/5/2022).
