Panama: Woman dies from H1N1 flu in CSS

A woman of 66 years died yesterday at the Hospital of the Social Security Fund (CSS) Influenza virus H1N1, becoming the fifth fatality in so far this year.The patient was hospitalized in the intensive care , suffering from the swine flu virus, according to the physiological samples analyzed by the Gorgas Memorial Institute for Studies Salud.A the patient applied the protocol required in these cases showed clinical signs of diabetes and liver cirrhosis, which complicated his health, killing him, despite medical efforts, said the CSS.
Two other women are hospitalized in this hospital, intubated and receiving the respective antiviral treatment for influenza AH1N1.
