Honduras: 111 cases of influenza H3N2

Dr. Tom?s Guevara, director of epidemiological surveillance of the Ministry of health, confirmed that 111 AH3 influenza cases have been identified in the country.The doctor explained that they have evaluated evidence until week epidemiological 41.Hasta that week were 1,400 samples of suspected cases of influenza. Of these, 323 have tested positive of all types of influenza.111 Samples that were positive to the AH3 joined 17 confirmed cases of A H1N1. 50 Percent of the 1,400 tests, i.e. 700, were positive seasonal influenza.AH3 influenza is a disease that could lead to pneumonia or other lung disease if left untreated in time.In that regard, the doctor recommended to take precautionary measures because any type of influenza, different from the seasonal, may complicate a healthy person's health, especially in winter time.
