Health concerned about dengue and pneumonia in the epidemic area

The increase in the number of attendances for acute respiratory infections, pneumonia and dengue recorded in recent weeks the authorities concerned of the Ministry of Health (Health Ministry).
The owner of the field, Maria Isabel Rodriguez, said they are preparing campaigns to prevent a major problem.
According to the report of the institution, most departments epidemic area is due to respiratory infections and pneumonia.
"Respiratory diseases are hitting us hard," Rodriguez said.
From 22 to 28 May 1,215 recorded consultations for pneumonia, up 8.5 percent from the previous week and 56,094 the flu.
The minister added that he also prepared to cope with the increase in the number of tests confirmed dengue.
Departments in recent months is raising the alarm are La Paz, Usulut?n, San Salvador and cabanas.
