NCCPHP was been working with the CDC, Guatemala's Ministry of Public Health, and the Universidad del Valle de Guatemala to develop a 2-year comprehensive training course for the Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) in Guatemala.
The first module of the training course was presented on March 12-30 at the Universidad del Valle campus. NCCPHP staff traveled to Guatemala to observe this module and collect participant data, which will assist in the delivery of future modules.
After this 3-week face-to-face course, students will complete additional face-to-face modules during the 2-year program.
