31 new cases of COVID-19 in Cuba at the end of this Monday
Of the 31 cases diagnosed this Monday, 17 were confirmed case contacts, in four the source of infection has not been defined and 10 have a source of infection abroad.

On Monday, 3,389 samples were processed in the different molecular biology laboratories in the country.
At the close of this Monday, Cuba reported 31 new cases of COVID-19, for a cumulative of 2,701 confirmed cases since last March; Nine medical discharges and one died after 22 consecutive days without deaths, Francisco Dur?n Garc?a, national director of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap) reported at a press conference.
On Monday 3,389 samples were processed in the different molecular biology laboratories in the country, which has accumulated so far a total of 277,863 tests carried out (with 2,701 positives, 0.97%).
The expert said that 463 patients are admitted to hospitals for clinical-epidemiological surveillance: 18 under surveillance, 216 suspects and 229 confirmed (active cases). Another 6 467 people are monitored in their homes, from primary health care.
Of the 2,701 patients diagnosed with the disease since March, 229 (8.4%) remain admitted confirmed; of them, 228 (99.5%) present stable clinical evolution. Since last March, 88 deaths have been reported (one this Monday), two evacuees and 2,382 patients recovered (nine discharges a day). A patient in serious condition is reported.
