People who are seen on beaches or promenades will be taken to quarantine centers, according to Bukele
The Salvadoran president recalled this Saturday on social networks that we are in quarantine, not on vacation.
The President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele, confirmed this Saturday that all tourist sites in the country must remain closed during the quarantine period due to the emergency of COVID-19.
"Beaches, rivers, lakes, mountains, towns, etc. and other promenades, are closed to internal and external tourism. Whoever is seen in these places and who is not a resident of them, with a valid reason to be away from home, will be sent to a Quarantine Center, " the president wrote on Twitter.
