    Authorities from the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance reported this Tuesday, December 27, that 15 more people were diagnosed with monkeypox in the last few hours.

    As detailed by Salud, the patients are all men, with an average age of 30 years and are receiving treatment at home.

    The authorities added that 362 people have been screened, four cases remain probable. “Until today, 259 confirmed cases have been reported, of which 256 are men and three are women ; 233 patients have recovered and 94 suspected cases have been ruled out ," Salud added...

      290 cumulative cases of monkey smallpox confirmed in Guatemala

      Guatemala City, Jan 10 (Prensa Latina) Guatemala accumulates 290 cases of monkey smallpox, the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (Mspas) confirmed today.

      According to a press release, the Mspas specified that 287 are men and three are women, and in all cases the medical personnel monitored their evolution.

      Likewise, 97 suspected cases have been ruled out to date and 257 have been recovered.//

        Guatemala has detected 336 cases of monkeypox

        The Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance reports that up to this Wednesday, January 25, 336 cases of monkeypox have been detected.

        As reported by Salud, 318 patients have recovered and the rest continue under treatment. Among the infected patients, 333 men and three women are reported.

        In addition, the institution recalls that "monkey smallpox is a disease that can be transmitted by contact with body fluids or skin lesions, through hugs, kisses, massages, sexual intercourse and less frequently by contact with objects, clothing, sheets and other objects for personal use, as well as surfaces that the sick person touched”.

        In addition, it recommends that the population go to health services when presenting symptoms.

          Health confirms 341 patients recovered from monkeypox

          The authorities announced that 354 positive cases of the disease have been confirmed in the national territory.

                The Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MSPAS) confirmed this Tuesday, March 21, that new infections of monkeypox were detected in the country, with which the number of accumulated cases increased to 403, of which 392 patients have recovered.

                The tests related to newly diagnosed patients were processed by the National Health Laboratory (LNS), in coordination with the laboratories of the Comprehensive Care Units (UAI) of the Roosevelt and San Juan de Dios hospitals.

                According to the portfolio, there are professionals in charge of monitoring the evolution of confirmed patients and, alternately, the epidemiological investigation has begun in this regard.
