Provincial Health Minister Susan Sullivan has confirmed a second death linked to influenza on Monday.



This news comes as the province begins to widen the availability of vaccines to prevent influenza and H1N1.

The death involved a man in his 50s who lived in western Newfoundland. Health Sullivan said his death occurred over the weekend and involved significant underlying conditions.
