    As the number of flu cases in New Brunswick continues to rise with a double whammy of influenza strains in the province this season, health officials are still encouraging people to get the vaccine.

    "It's not too late," Dr. Jennifer Russell, the province's acting chief medical officer of health, said Monday.

    There have been 738 reported cases of the flu so far ? 537 Influenza A and 201 Influenza B, as of Jan. 27, said Russell.

    That includes 207 hospitalizations and 13 deaths, she said.
