                New Brunswick: There have been 96 positive influenza detections during week 1, 94 influenza A (H3) viruses and 2 influenza A (unsubtyped). The ILI consultation rate was low and was slightly below the expected range for this time of year. Two influenza outbreaks were reported, both in nursing homes in regions 2 & 6.
