- Disposal of carcasses at infected premises NAI-2010-MB-001 is now completed.
- Cleaning and disinfection of this premises has started.
- Investigation conducted by the CFIA at four epidemiologically linked premises including the hatchery revealed the absence of NAI virus at those premises.
- All tests were negative.
- The four premises were released from quarantine by the CFIA.
- Surveillance activities in Manitoba are ongoing as in other regions of Canada under the Canadian Notifiable Avian Influenza Surveillance System (CanNAISS).
