    Ontario is reporting 1,122 people in hospital with COVID on Monday, with 159 in intensive care.

    This is up by 98 for hospitalizations and an increase of eight for ICUs since the previous day, though officials noted not all hospitals reported updated figures due to the weekend.

    Last Monday, there were 1,213 hospitalizations with 201 in ICU.

    According to latest data for hospitalizations from the weekend, 61 per cent were admitted for other reasons but tested positive for COVID-19. For those in ICUs, 35 per cent were admitted for other reasons...

        Ontario is reporting 1,345 people in hospital with COVID on Tuesday, with 165 in intensive care.

        This is up by 223 for hospitalizations and an increase of six for ICUs since the previous day as hospitals report updated figures from the weekend.

        Last Tuesday, there were 1,555 hospitalizations with 188 in ICU.

        According to latest data for hospitalizations, 61 per cent were admitted for other reasons but tested positive for COVID-19. For those in ICUs, 34 per cent were admitted for other reasons.

        Meanwhile, Ontario also reported 1,028 new lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, though that is an underestimate of the true widespread transmission of the virus due to PCR testing eligibility. The provincial case total now stands at 1,288,557.

        The death toll in the province has risen to 13,083 from the previous day as 11 new virus-related deaths were added...

          Ontario is reporting 1,248 people in hospital with COVID on Wednesday, with 163 in intensive care.

          This is down by 97 for hospitalizations and a decrease of two for ICUs since the previous day. Last Wednesday, there were 1,528 hospitalizations with 176 in ICU.

          According to latest data for hospitalizations, 62 per cent were admitted for other reasons but tested positive for COVID-19. For those in ICUs, 41 per cent were admitted for other reasons.

          Meanwhile, Ontario also reported 1,692 new lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, though that is an underestimate of the true widespread transmission of the virus due to PCR testing eligibility. The provincial case total now stands at 1,290,249.

          The death toll in the province has risen to 13,099 from the previous day as 16 new virus-related deaths were added. This includes two deaths that were added to the total following data cleanup...

            Ontario is reporting 1,207 people in hospital with COVID on Thursday, with 168 in intensive care.

            This is down by 41 for hospitalizations but an increase of five for ICUs since the previous day. Last Thursday, there were 1,451 hospitalizations with 175 in ICU.

            According to latest data for hospitalizations, 61 per cent were admitted for other reasons but tested positive for COVID-19. For those in ICUs, 38 per cent were admitted for other reasons.

            Meanwhile, Ontario also reported 1,565 new lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases on Thursday, though that is an underestimate of the true widespread transmission of the virus due to PCR testing eligibility. The provincial case total now stands at 1,291,814.

            The death toll in the province has risen to 13,122 from the previous day as 23 new virus-related deaths were added. This includes three deaths that were added to the total following data cleanup

              This is down by 42 for hospitalizations and a decrease of five for ICUs since the previous day. Last Friday, there were 1,453 hospitalizations with 168 in ICU.

              According to latest data for hospitalizations, 61 per cent were admitted for other reasons but tested positive for COVID-19. For those in ICUs, 47 per cent were admitted for other reasons.

              Meanwhile, Ontario also reported 1,412 new lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases on Friday, though that is an underestimate of the true widespread transmission of the virus due to PCR testing eligibility. The provincial case total now stands at 1,293,226.

                        Ontario is reporting 890 people in hospital with COVID on Tuesday, with 157 in intensive care. On Victoria Day Monday, there were 879 people reported to be in hospital with COVID, with 152 in ICUs.

                        Due to the holiday weekend, figures were not available on Victoria Day Monday so two sets of data were released on Tuesday for both days.

                        Last Tuesday, there were 1,345 hospitalizations with 165 in ICU, showing a decline week-over-week.

                        According to latest data for hospitalizations, 58 per cent were admitted for other reasons but tested positive for COVID-19. For those in ICUs, 31 per cent were admitted for other reasons.

                        Meanwhile, Ontario also reported 619 new lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases on Tuesday and 668 on Monday, though that is an underestimate of the true widespread transmission of the virus due to PCR testing eligibility. The provincial case total now stands at 1,296,786.
