    The seven-day average of daily new cases is 274 or 22.8 per 100,000 people...

    ...There are a total of 2,963 active cases in Saskatchewan.

    In hospital, there are 285 patients with COVID-19, including 74 receiving intensive care.

      Saskatchewan officials reported 170 new COVID-19 cases on Monday and no new deaths.

      The seven-day average of daily new cases is 259, or 21.5 cases per 100,000 people...

      ...In hospital, there are 293 patients with COVID-19, including 71 receiving intensive care.

      Of those 293 patients, 208 or 71 per cent are not fully vaccinated.

        The Saskatchewan government recorded 126 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, along with 10 more deaths...

        ...Thirty-nine – or 31 per cent – of the new cases are in children under the age of 12, who are not yet eligible for vaccination; 60 new cases – or 48 per cent – are in unvaccinated teens and adults...

        ... There were 1,496 COVID-19 tests reported Tuesday, a 28 per cent decrease from last Tuesday and a 63 per cent decrease from the 4,053 tests reported 30 days ago on Sept. 26.

        With 400 recoveries, there are 2,538 active cases in the province – the lowest number since the beginning of September.

        According to the provincial dashboard, there are 286 COVID-19 patients in hospital – 207, or 72 per cent, of these patients are not fully vaccinated. There are 69 COVID-19 patients in Saskatchewan ICUs and 12 patients receiving intensive care in Ontario...

          Saskatchewan reported 11 more COVID-19-related deaths on Thursday, with 237 new cases.

          More than one quarter, 27.4 per cent, of the new cases are 11 years old and younger.

          Active cases in the province now sit at 2,398, with 268 recoveries.

          The seven-day average of daily new cases is 218 – 18.1 new cases per 100,000 residents.

          There are 260 patients in the hospital with COVID-19, including 58 in intensive care.

          Of the 260 patients, 185, 71.2 per cent, were not fully vaccinated.

          Three more patients were transferred to Ontario Wednesday, for a total of 19 residents transferred out-of-province to date...

            REGINA -

            Saskatchewan reported 238 new COVID-19 cases and three related deaths Friday.

            Almost one-third, 30.3 per cent of the new cases, are between 20 to 39-years-old.

            Active cases in the province now sit at 2,364, with 269 recoveries.

            The seven-day average of daily new cases is 209 – 17.3 new cases per 100,000 residents.

            There are 238 patients in hospital due to COVID-19, 54 of which are in the ICU.

            Of the 238 patients, 165, 69.3 per cent, were not fully vaccinated.

            There are currently 22 Saskatchewan residents recieveing out-of-province care, meaning they are not included in the Saskatchewan hospitalization counts...

              COVID-19: 4 deaths, 226 hospitalizations reported in Saskatchewan

              Saskatchewan health officials reported on Saturday four more residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have died.

              There are 226 people in hospital with COVID-19, including 53 in ICU.

              Of those 226 individuals, 159 or 70 per cent were not fully vaccinated.

              There are an additional 23 Saskatchewan ICU patients receiving care in Ontario.

              One former ICU patient in Ontario was transferred back to Saskatchewan on Friday and is now receiving acute care...

                COVID-19: Active cases lowest in over 2 months as Saskatchewan adds 3 new deaths

                Saskatchewan’s active COVID-19 cases are the lowest in just over two months as it adds three new deaths on Monday.

                The province’s active infections decreased, now sitting at 1,950, which is the lowest since Aug. 28, when there were 1,987.

                The three recently deceased who tested positive for the virus include two people in the 80-plus age group while the other was between 60 and 79 years old. Saskatchewan’s COVID-19 death toll now sits at 854.

                According to the Saskatchewan government’s dashboard on Monday, there were 128 new cases, bringing the overall infection total in Saskatchewan to 77,793. The seven-day average of new daily infections decreased to 188 from 193 on Oct. 31.

                Hospitals in the province are currently providing care for 222 patients with COVID-19: 167 are receiving inpatient care and 55 are in intensive care units. As of Monday, 68.9 per cent of the hospitalized patients were not fully vaccinated.

                  COVID-19: Saskatchewan reports 107 new infections, adds 5 deaths

                  The number of new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday in Saskatchewan was the lowest since mid-August.

                  According to the provincial government’s dashboard, there were 107 new cases, bringing the overall infection total in Saskatchewan to 77,902. The last time new cases were lower was on Aug. 16 when there were 87.

                  The seven-day average of new daily infections decreased to 185 from 188 on Monday.

                  The province’s active infections decreased, now sitting at 1,829, which is the lowest since Aug. 27 when there were 1,753.

                  Saskatchewan’s COVID-19 death toll now sits at 859. The five recently deceased who tested positive for the virus include two people in the 80-plus and 60-to-79 age groups while the other was between 40 and 59 years old.

                  Hospitals in the province are currently providing care for 222 patients with COVID-19: 174 are receiving inpatient care and 48 are in ICUs. As of Tuesday, 69.4 per cent of the hospitalized patients were not fully vaccinated.

                    The Government of Saskatchewan reported 173 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday and three more deaths.

                    A total of 862 Saskatchewan residents have died after testing positive for COVID-19.

                    There are 226 patients currently in hospital related to COVID-19, including 51 in intensive care. Of the 226 patients, 154, or 68 per cent were not fully vaccinated. Additionally, 25 residents are receiving care in out-of-province ICUs.

                      The Government of Saskatchewan reported 188 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday.

                      Of the new cases, 120, or 69 per cent, were unvaccinated, while eight were partially vaccinated and 45 were fully vaccinated.

                        Sask. COVID-19 hospitalizations fall below 200; province adds two deaths

                        The Saskatchewan government says there are currently 197 COVID-19 hospitalizations in the province — the first time since Sept. 12 there have been less than 200 hospitalizations.

                        Friday’s provincial COVID-19 update noted there are 148 inpatient hospitalizations and 49 ICU hospitalizations. Of the 197 patients, 134 were not fully vaccinated.

                        There are also 22 Saskatchewan residents in out-of-province ICUs. The government said this number is not included in the province’s hospitalization counts since these patients are receiving care out of province.

                        Since Thursday’s report, there has been one repatriation and one out-of-province death, according to the report.

                        Saskatchewan has recorded two new COVID-19 deaths along with 141 new cases and 126 more recoveries...

                            Saskatchewan’s COVID-19 death toll grew by one to 873 on Monday as 100 new infections were added.

                            The recently deceased who tested positive for the virus was in the 80-plus age group.

                            According to the provincial government’s dashboard, the overall infection total in the province is up to 78,824. Of the new cases, the provincial government said 62 were unvaccinated, which included 29 children under the age of 12.

                            The province’s active infections decreased, now sitting at 1,527. This is the lowest figure since Aug. 21 when there were 1,478 cases.

                            Hospitals in the province are currently providing care for 191 patients with COVID-19: 140 are receiving inpatient care and 51 are in ICUs. As of Thursday, 67 per cent of the hospitalized patients were not fully vaccinated.

                              Sask. reports fewer than 100 new COVID-19 cases

                              The Saskatchewan government recorded fewer than 100 new COVID-19 cases for the first time since the beginning of August.

                              The province confirmed 86 cases on Tuesday, along with one additional death and 188 recoveries.

                              The new cases pushed the number of active cases down to 1,424 and slightly lowered the seven-day average of daily new cases to 146. The province said 1,666 COVID-19 tests were processed since Monday...

                              ...There are 193 COVID-19 patients in hospital, including in 51 in the ICU. The province said 66 per cent of patients hospitalized with COVID-19 are not fully vaccinated.

                                The Government of Saskatchewan reported 121 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, along with four more deaths.

                                Of the new cases, 86, or 71 per cent, are unvaccinated, while four are partially vaccinated and 31 are fully vaccinated. Children under the age of 12 – who are not currently eligible to be vaccinated – make up 47 of the new cases.

                                As of Wednesday, there were 187 people in hospital related to COVID-19, including 52 patients in intensive care. Of the patients in hospital, 118, or 63 per cent, were not fully vaccinated.

                                Additionally, 14 Saskatchewan residents are being treated in out-of-province ICUs.

                                There are 1,374 cases considered active, following 166 more recoveries.

                                The seven-day average of daily new cases is 138, or 11.5 per 100,000 population...
