    Quebec reported 14 new deaths attributed to COVID-19 as hospital numbers dipped slightly Tuesday.

    The number of pandemic-related hospitalizations came to 1,439, a decrease of seven within the past 24 hours. This includes 90 intensive care unit cases, a fall of four.

    This comes after 86 patients were admitted to hospitals across the province while 93 were released in the last day.

    The province recorded 698 new cases of the novel coronavirus, though this isn’t representative of the situation since PCR screening is limited to certain groups...

        Hospitalizations due to COVID-19 are continuing to drop in Quebec, with a decrease of 58 Wednesday for a total of 1,381.

        88 patients were admitted and 146 were discharged.

        Intensive care numbers dropped to 82, a decrease of eight, with seven new entries and 15 discharges.

        Twenty new deaths were reported, bringing the total to 14,016 since the pandemic began.

        Of the new hospitalizations, 51 patients are older than 60, with 31 of them triple-vaccinated, 12 double-vaccinated, and six unvaccinated. Two patients have an unknown vaccination status.

        There are 37 patients below age 59. Thirteen are triple-vaccinated, nine are double-vaccinated, one has received one dose of the vaccine, eight are unvaccinated and two have an unknown vaccination status.

        One child between the ages of five and 11 was admitted, while three children below age four were admitted.

        As for ICU patients, two are triple-vaxxed, one is double-vaxxed, two are unvaccinated and one is of unknown status.

        According to public health, unvaccinated individuals are currently 7.4 times more likely to be hospitalized for COVID-19 and 15.9 times more likely to end up in the ICU.

        The health ministry recorded 1,630 new cases of the virus Wednesday, though these numbers are much lower than the actual number of infections, since PCR testing was limited to a small sector of the population...

            Quebec reported 24 new deaths linked to COVID-19 as hospital numbers dipped on Thursday.

            Pandemic-related hospitalizations dropped to 1,364, a decrease of 17 in the last day. This comes after 98 patients were admitted and 115 were released.

            The latest roundup also accounted for 76 intensive care unit cases. This is a drop of six over the past 24-hour period.

            The province also recorded 1,257 new novel coronavirus infections. The daily tally isn’t an accurate representation of the situation since PCR testing is limited to certain groups...

              Quebec reported 16 new deaths attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic as hospitalizations continued to drop Friday.

              Hospitalizations related to the health crisis stood at 1,313, a decrease of 51 compared with the previous day. This comes after 88 patients were admitted and 139 were discharged.

              There were 80 patients in intensive care units across the province, a rise of four.

              Quebec registered 1,354 new novel coronavirus cases as part of its daily tally, but that number isn’t representative of infections in the community since PCR screening is limited to high-risk groups...

                      Quebec reported six new deaths attributed to COVID-19 on Monday as the province saw a slight rise in hospitalizations and intensive care unit cases.

                      Pandemic-related hospitalizations increased by 16 to 1,254. This comes after 62 patients were admitted while 46 were discharged in the past 24 hours.

                      The latest roundup shows 79 Quebecers in intensive care units, a bump of three compared with the previous day.

                      The province recorded 775 new novel coronavirus cases, though this number is not representative of the situation since access to government-run PCR testing is limited to priority groups...

                              Quebec reported six new deaths linked to COVID-19 on Wednesday as the number of patients hospitalized with the disease dropped by 30.

                              Pandemic-related hospitalizations across the province totalled 1,222. This comes after 67 patients were admitted, while 97 left in the last day.

                              Intensive care unit cases decreased by eight, for a total of 69.

                              The province recorded 1,426 novel coronavirus infections, though this only takes into account PCR testing done at government-run sites — which is limited to high-risk groups...
