    MONTREAL -- Quebec reported 612 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, with 430 of those not fully vaccinated.

    The health ministry said 400 of the positive tests were found in unvaccinated individuals, while 30 were from those who received one dose of vaccine more than two weeks ago, and 182 people were double-vaxxed more than a week ago.

    The ministry said 20 people checked into a hospital for COVID-19 treatment and 21 were discharged dropping the total number of hospitalizations by one to 296. Of those, 80 people are in intensive care wards, a decrease of four. ..

    MONTREAL -- COVID-19 cases in Quebec rose by 602 on Saturday with 475 of those not fully vaccinated.

    Quebec's Health Ministry says 462 of the new infections were reported in people who had not received a dose of vaccine, 13 received one dose more than two weeks ago and 127 were double-vaxxed more than a week ago.

    The province added two more deaths due to the disease, bringing the total number of deaths since the start of the pandemic to 11,412...

    MONTREAL -- Quebec reported 643 new COVID-19 cases on Friday as well as five new deaths, as hospitalizations rose slightly.

    The total number of deaths due to the virus is now 11,410 in the province.

    Of the new cases reported, 458 (71 per cent) were from people who aren't fully vaccinated, while 185 of the cases (28 per cent) were from people who received their second dose of the vaccine more than seven days ago.

    There were 32 new admissions to hospitals and 27 discharges in the last 24 hours, for a net increase of five hospitalizations from the day before. In total, there are 297 people in hospital.

    Of the new admissions, 21 (65 per cent) were from people who aren't fully vaccinated, while 11 (34 per cent) were from people who got their two shots more than seven days ago.

    There are 86 people in the ICU, a decrease of two from yesterday...

    MONTREAL -- Quebec is reporting eight more people have died due to COVID-19 as the province records 436 new cases on Tuesday.

    The total number of deaths due to the coronavirus is now 11,397 since the start of the pandemic.

    The vast majority of the new cases reported on Tuesday were from people who weren't fully vaccinated.

    Of the 436 new cases, 324 (74 per cent) of them did not have their two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, while 112 people (25 per cent) had their second dose more than seven days ago.

    The latest figures from the province show there are 291 people in hospital after 25 people were admitted and 24 were discharged, resulting in a daily increase of one patient in the last 24 hours.

    The majority of the people admitted to hospital in the past day (72 per cent) were not fully vaccinated.

    There are 90 people in intensive care, an increase of two from yesterday, and the positivity rate is now 1.9 per cent...

    MONTREAL -- Six more people have died due to COVID-19 in Quebec as the province reports another 402 cases on Monday.

    To date, there have been 11,389 deaths from the coronavirus.

    Of the new cases reported Monday, 278 (69 per cent) were among people who weren't fully vaccinated. The remaining 124 new cases were from people who received their second dose more than seven days ago.

    Hospitalizations were down by two in the last 24 hours for a total of 290, after 22 people were admitted and 24 people were discharged from hospital across the province.

    Thirteen of those hospitalizations, or 59 per cent, were from people who had not received their two doses of the vaccine. Nine of the 22 people admitted to hospital with COVID-19 had their second shot more than seven days ago.

    The number of people in the ICU remains the same at 88...

    MONTREAL -- Quebec reported Saturday 640 more people have contracted COVID-19 and five people have died since Friday's update.

    Public health was monitoring 623 active outbreaks within the territory Saturday morning. The Oct. 2 update was based on the results of 30,050 COVID-19 tests, for a positivity rate of 1.8 per cent.

    Overall hospitalizations decreased by nine for a total of 301 with 32 fewer people receiving care.

    Of those, there are 83 people in the ICU, an overall decrease of one...

    MONTREAL -- Quebec added 643 new coronavirus cases Friday, with six more people reported dead due to the virus.

    Since the beginning of the pandemic, 410,823 Quebecers have caught the virus. Of those, 393,595 people have recovered, and 11,377 have died.

    Public health is monitoring 5,851 active infections, reporting 617 active outbreaks Friday.

    There was an overall decrease in hospitalizations since Thursday's update after 35 people arrived in hospital with COVID-19 symptoms. A total of 36 people are no longer receiving care, for a net decrease of one.

    Of those in hospital, 84 are in the ICU, where there were six new entries and 13 fewer people receiving that kind of care on Friday.

    Friday's update was based on the results of 35,217 analyzed COVID-19 tests, for a positivity rate of 2 per cent...

    As the COVID-19 health crisis continues, health officials in Quebec reported 469 new cases and six additional deaths Tuesday.

    The latest daily tally of new infections is the lowest reported in a single day in the province since August. The province’s public health institute registered 5,986 active cases in its update.

    Pandemic-related hospitalizations rose by 22 to 321. This includes 94 patients in intensive care, a drop of one compared with the previous day...

    ...The public health institute says 89.3 per cent of residents 12 and over have received at least one dose of the vaccine and 85.2 per cent are considered adequately vaccinated...

    MONTREAL -- Quebec public health is monitoring 600 active outbreaks within its territory as Saturday's coronavirus update reveals 795 new infections and 5 additional deaths.

    A total of 11,354 have died due to the virus in Quebec since the pandemic began.

    Most new infections were reported among those not fully vaccinated, with 567 positive tests returned to people who received a first dose less than two weeks prior, or never got a shot at all...

    ... Hospitalizations increased to 301 as 37 more people were admitted with coronavirus symptoms.
