      Quebec reported 17 new deaths attributed to COVID-19 amid another upswing in patients being treated for the disease Friday.

      Pandemic-related hospitalizations stood at 1,275, a net rise of 37 compared with the previous day. This comes after 177 people were admitted while 140 were discharged.

      Health authorities say 62 patients were in intensive care units, a drop of four.

      The province recorded 3,182 new novel coronavirus cases, down from 3,319 the day before. Friday marks the third consecutive day that infections topped 3,000...

        Quebec's Ministry of Health said on Monday that 57 more people are in hospitals in the province for COVID-19 treatment than there were on Friday.

        The ministry said 158 people checked in for treatment and 101 were discharged, bringing the total number of hospitalizations to 1,407.

            Hospitalizations are continuing to spike in Quebec, with an increase of 72 reported Tuesday by the province.

            According to the health ministry, there were 219 admissions and 147 discharges, bringing the total number of hospitalizations to 1,479.

            Of those, 120 people have received three shots of the vaccine, 50 have received two, three have received one, and 22 are unvaccinated. Sixteen have an unknown vaccination status.

            Sixty-nine people are in intensive care, with the total remaining stable at an increase of 15 people and a decrease of 15...

              Quebec reported 12 new deaths attributed to COVID-19 as the province’s hospital numbers remained on the upswing with a 61-patient jump Wednesday.

              Pandemic-related hospitalizations rounded out at 1,540. This comes after 226 people were admitted in the last day and 165 were discharged.

              Of those patients, 66 were in intensive care units — a drop of three compared with the previous day.

                    Quebec reported a sharp rise in its COVID-19 data on Friday, as the sixth wave continues in the province.

                    The Ministry of Health says 230 more people checked into a hospital for treatment and 175 were discharged, for a net increase of 55 hospitalizations.

                    There are now 1,637 people in Quebec hospitals for COVID-19 treatment, including 62 people in intensive care units, a decrease of two from 24 hours ago.

                    Thirty more people have died due to the novel coronavirus, bringing that total to 14,512.

                    Out of 22,220 PCR tests analyzed by health-care professionals, 3,572 came back positive for a rate of 16.7 per cent.

                    The province has reported 992,649 positive PCR tests since the start of the pandemic.

                    In addition, 1,199 more positive self-declared rapid tests were recorded, bringing that total to 129,781.

                        The province also recorded 2,234 new cases of the novel coronavirus. The daily tally isn’t representative of the situation since it only take take into account PCR testing, which is only accessible to certain groups.

                            Quebec is reporting Tuesday that COVID-19 hospitalizations have risen by 145, bringing the total to 1,938, the highest since mid-February.

                            The Health Ministry says 294 patients checked in for treatment and 149 were discharged.

                                On Wednesday, Quebec reported 2,060 people in hospital (an increase of 122 from the previous day), including 83 in intensive care (an increase of 16 from the previous day).
                                The province reported 3,515 new cases of COVID-19 and 13 deaths.
                                Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 1,007,006 confirmed cases, and 14,592 people have died.
                                The province also reported a total of 18,963,907 doses of COVID-19 vaccines administered, including 38,839 doses in the last 24 hours.
