    This is all you need to know about what is going on in the US. There is no way Canada can afford to this economically. They must be perceiving the US COVID-19 coronavirus situation as unsafe.

      Actually, commercial traffic has never halted between the US and Canada...only unnecessary travel has been prohibited. However I've heard that one can cross the border by air, and for snowbirds, have your car/RV brought to the US by a commercial company. I don't believe NY and other states near Quebec/Ontario would like to see the border open as cases in these provinces are ongoing and have not dropping significantly.
