    Affected population On February 15th, 2018, a farm owner in Tropang raing Thmey village (Sankat Thmourgn, Khan Sen Sok) reported morbidity and mortality in chickens to Institute Pasteur of Cambodia (IPC). IPC in collaboration with General Directorate for Animal Health and Production (GDAHP) collected six samples from chickens which had died suddenly and sent them to IPC for laboratory testing. On January 16th, 2018, the laboratory confirmed positive results for influenza A/H5N1. All susceptible birds in the infected premise have been culled.
