Five samples from poultry were collected by National Animal Health and Production Research Institute (NAHPRI) staffs and sent to NAHPRI laboratory for confirmation. On January 08th, 2018, the laboratory result confirmed positive to avian influenza. All susceptible birds in the infected premises have been culled.
