      • After receiving the report from poultry owners, the district and provincial veterinarians went there.
      • They collected some samples from chicken, ducks, and geese and send them to the National Veterinary Research Institute (NaVRI).
      • The results were confirmed positive for highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1.
