    EPIDEMIOLOGICAL WEEK 24 14 - 20 Jun 2015


    44 cases of Salmonellosis, 209 Dengue (above warning level), 541 HFMD, 4 Melioidosis, 13 Mumps - see link for full list.

    Average daily clinic visits;
    ARI: 2,631
    Conjunctivitis: 65
    Diarrhoea: 399
    Chickenpox: 10

    Influenza indicators for E-week 24 (14 June - 20 June 2015) are as follows:
    The average daily number of patients seeking treatment in the polyclinics for ARI decreased from 2,637 (over 5.5
    working days) in E-week 23 to 2,631 (over 5.5 working days) in E-week 24.

    The proportion of patients with influenza-like illness (ILI) among the polyclinic attendances for ARI remained low
    approximately 1%.
    The overall prevalence of influenza among ILI samples (n=336) in the community was 56.5% in the past 4 weeks. Of the
    specimens tested positive for influenza in May 2015, they were positive for influenza A(H3N2) (74.8%), influenza
    A(H1N1)pdm09 (19.6%) and influenza B (5.6%).

      9 cases of Campylobacteriosis, 39 Salmonellosis, 241 Dengue (above warning level, rising), 578 HFMD, 15 Mumps, 6 Invasive Pneumococcal disease - see link for full list.

      ARI: 2,651
      Conjunctivitis: 69

      Influenza indicators for E-week 25 (21 June - 27 June 2015) are as follows:
      The average daily number of patients seeking treatment in the polyclinics for ARI decreased from 2,631 (over 5.5
      working days) in E-week 24 to 2,651 (over 5.5 working days) in E-week 25.
      The proportion of patients with influenza-like illness (ILI) among the polyclinic attendances for ARI remained low
      approximately 1%.

      The overall prevalence of influenza among ILI samples (n=397) in the community was 61.7% in the past 4 weeks. Of the
      specimens tested positive for influenza in May 2015, they were positive for influenza A(H3N2) (74.8%), influenza

          Influenza indicators for E-week 27 (5 Jul - 11 Jul 2015) are as follows:
          The average daily number of patients seeking treatment in the polyclinics for ARI increased from 2,319 (over 5.5
          working days) in E-week 26 to 2,357 (over 5.5 working days) in E-week 27.

          The proportion of patients with influenza-like illness (ILI) among the polyclinic attendances for ARI remained low at
          approximately 1%.
          The overall prevalence of influenza among ILI samples (n=436) in the community was 54.1% in the past 4 weeks. Of the
          specimens tested positive for influenza in Jun 2015, they were positive for influenza A(H3N2) (78.6%), influenza
          A(H1N1)pdm09 (14.3%) and influenza B (7.1%).

            working days) in E-week 27 to 2,318 (over 4.5 working days) in E-week 28.

            The proportion of patients with influenza-like illness (ILI) among the polyclinic attendances for ARI remained below 1%.
            The overall prevalence of influenza among ILI samples (n=361) in the community was 49.3% in the past 4 weeks. Of the
            specimens tested positive for influenza in June 2015, these were positive for influenza A(H3N2) (80.3%), influenza B
            (11.2%) and influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 (8.4%).

              The proportion of patients with influenza-like illness (ILI) among the polyclinic attendances for ARI remained below 1%.
              The overall prevalence of influenza among ILI samples (n=263) in the community was 37.6% in the past 4 weeks. Of the
              specimens tested positive for influenza in June 2015, these were positive for influenza A(H3N2) (80.3%), influenza B
              (11.2%) and influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 (8.4%).
