Manila Standard: Airport calls swine flu alert

"AIRPORT authorities on Monday raised an alert for travelers afflicted with the H1N1 virus, known as swine flu, after Chinese health officials reported the death of two women from the illness.
MIAA general manager Jose Honrado said thermal scanners are in place at all entry and exit gates of the three NAIA terminals to screen passengers and detect possible carriers.
...A poster posted at the entrance of the arrival immigration hall was place reminding incoming passengers that they are reminded and required to disinfect their foot wear on the foot bath located at the aircraft tube going to the arrival hall."
