    Search resumes for missing at flooded tunnel

    Police divers resumed their search on Wednesday for 5 construction workers who are missing after an accident at an undersea tunnel in western Japan.

    OKAYAMA--A 20-meter-wide, 3.5-meter-deep hollow has been found on the floor of Mizushima Port in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, at a site where five workers went missing when an underwater tunnel they were digging flooded with seawater, Japan Coast Guard officials said Wednesday.

        Third body found after tunnel flooding in Okayama

        OKAYAMA, Japan (Kyodo) -- Divers on Sunday found the body of one of the three workers who had remained missing following an accident in an undersea tunnel at a JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corp. refinery in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, Kajima Corp., the primary contractor for the project, said Monday.

            Body of last missing worker in tunnel flooding found

            OKAYAMA (Kyodo) -- Rescue workers on Saturday recovered the body of the last worker missing after an accident in an undersea tunnel at a JX Nippon Oil & Energy Corp. refinery in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, in early February, police said.
