Nursing care insurance to cover 24-hour service for elderly
TOKYO (Kyodo) -- The government said Wednesday it will launch a 24-hour service for households with elderly people to be covered under the public nursing care insurance scheme from fiscal 2012 starting April to help the elderly become more self-reliant by facilitating in-home nursing care.
