Japan extends SDF's peacekeeping missions in Haiti, Golan Heights
TOKYO (Kyodo) -- The Japanese government approved Friday extending the Self-Defense Forces' peacekeeping operations in Haiti and the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights in line with U.N. policy.
Tokyo, Jan. 20 (Jiji Press)--The Japanese government decided at a cabinet meeting Friday to extend the Ground Self-Defense Force's earthquake relief mission in Haiti by one year to the end of January 2013.
