    WAKAYAMA -- A professor at a prefectural medical university here received 2.9 million yen from two hospitals in return for dispatching doctors to those institutions, it has been learned.

    WAKAYAMA -- In yet further revelations of a shady monetary relationship between Wakayama Medical University and related hospitals, the latter was found to have covered tens of millions of yen in salaries for the prefectural university's medical office staff.
