Japan's oldest person dies at 115

TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Chiyono Hasegawa, Japan's oldest person, died of natural causes Friday at a care facility for the aged in the town of Kiyama, Saga Prefecture, the health ministry said. She was 115.

Tokyo, Dec. 2 (Jiji Press)--Japan's oldest person, Chiyono Hasegawa, passed away Friday at the age of 115, the Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry said the same day.
